Hanover Lantern was born in 1970 near historic Gettysburg as a gift lantern shop owned by the Hoffmans. Over the decades, the Hoffmans evolved their family’s gift lantern business into a leading American manufacturer of cast aluminum residential, pathway, and commercial outdoor lighting.
Flash forward to 2018 after years of highs, economic crashes, ownership changes, and eventually Hanover Lantern closing as a manufacturer, two former Hanover Lantern employees purchased Hanover Lantern and returned the beloved, American made lighting manufacturer to being a family owned company located once again in Hanover, PA.
While 50 plus years have gone by since its birth, Hanover Lantern remains just as committed to the creation of top of the line, American made outdoor light products and accessories to be the finishing touch to your home, business, or commercial setting.
