Limited Lifetime Warranty
For Original Residential Purchaser of Residential Lighting Fixtures, and Posts Only
Hanover Lantern warrants its residential products (all other products have 5-year warranty listed below) to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and operation for the life of the product while owned by the original purchaser (the “Lifetime Warranty Period”). Such warranty is in lieu of all other warranties including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Hanover Lantern, at its sole option, will repair or replace, F.O.B. our factory, freight prepaid, any Hanover Lantern product (other than ballasts, lamps and emergency battery packs) defective in workmanship or materials. Such repair or replacement is the sole and exclusive remedy against Hanover Lantern. Hanover Lantern product which fails under normal operating conditions within the specified warranty period from the date of invoice, provided it is returned to the factory, transportation prepaid, and our inspection determines it to be defective under terms of this warranty. Hanover Lantern reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace. Hanover Lantern will not be responsible for any consequential or incidental damages in connection with any breach of its aforementioned warranty.
Hanover Lantern will not be responsible for any products subjected to inappropriate application or installed or modified in any way that is not in accordance with Hanover Lantern’s instructions.
No agent, employee or representative of Hanover Lantern has any authority to bind Hanover Lantern to any affirmation, representation or warranty concerning goods sold by Hanover Lantern and unless an affirmation, representation or warranty made by an agent, employee or representative is specifically included herein, or in Hanover Lantern’s acknowledgement.
On All Hanover Lantern Products (Except Where Noted Above)
Hanover Lantern warrants that its products (other than ballasts, LEDs, lamps and emergency battery packs) are free of defects in workmanship and materials. Such warranty is in lieu of all other warranties including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Hanover Lantern, at its sole option, will repair or replace, F.O.B. our factory, freight prepaid, any Hanover Lantern product (other than ballasts, LEDs, lamps and emergency battery packs) defective in workmanship or materials. Such repair or replacement is the sole and exclusive remedy against Hanover Lantern and is limited to five years from the date of the original shipment by Hanover Lantern. Hanover Lantern product which fails under normal operating conditions within the specified warranty period from the date of invoice, provided it is returned to the factory, transportation prepaid, and our inspection determines it to be defective under terms of this warranty. Hanover Lantern reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace. Hanover Lantern will not be responsible for any consequential or incidental damages in connection with any breach of its aforementioned warranty.
LEDs, H.I.D. ballasts, photoelectric controls, and fluorescent ballasts carry the same warranty as offered by the original manufacturer for these items, but in no event will any warranty claims on these items be honored later than two (2) years after the Buyer’s receipt of the goods. All LEDs and H.I.D. ballasts have been pre-tested, prior to shipping, in order to avoid field failures. In the event of a defect in one of these items which is covered by warranty, the Buyer must assert his claim in writing. If covered by warranty, these items will be shipped and billed at replacement costs and a Return Merchandise Authorization will be issued for the defective items. Credits will be issued on return of the defective items to the Seller. The invoice for the replacement items is payable within thirty (30) days unless the defective item is returned within this time period.

10 Year LED Warranty for Integrated LEDs
Lumecon LLC (“Lumecon”) warrants for the warranty period, with the limitations below, to the first user that all Products manufactured by Lumecon are free from defects in material and workmanship. The Products will operate properly throughout the warranty period when installed, maintained, and operated under normal conditions as described in Product specification sheets and other documentation provided by Lumecon. The Products covered by this warranty are products manufactured by Lumecon in the USA that are used for purposes as defined by Lumecon LLC.
The warranty period begins on the date of manufacture labeled on the Products and ends ten (10) years thereafter for LED arrays, power supplies, and associated components, with the exclusion of components deemed “consumable” such as fuses and surge suppression devices. The warranty period assumes 10 years of continuous operation without limitation to daily usage, and that the Products are operated within their intended electrical and ambient temperature design limits as described within their respective product specification sheets. A defect will be deemed to exist in a Product only if either (a) there has been greater than 30% degradation in light output over the Warranty Period; or (b) more than 5% of the LEDs have totally failed.
Limitations of Warranty
This Warranty does not apply to parts or assemblies that have been subjected to abuse, misuse, improper installation, abnormal service, accident, fire, improper repair or maintenance, tampering, nor to parts or assemblies that have incurred extraordinary weather conditions. In particular, but without limitation, this warranty does not apply if the Product or LED array fails by reason of transient and/or surge voltage or current, including but not limited to lightning strikes, load switching, dirty power, improper grounding or an act of God, such as a hurricane, tornado, or other catastrophic natural event.
Exclusive Remedy
Lumecon’s sole liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement (at Lumecon’s option) of the defective Product or LED array. Under no circumstances will Lumecon be responsible for any other loss or expense whatsoever, including but not limited to charges or claims for labor, lost business, lost time, lost profits, loss of use or any kind of incidental, consequential or punitive damages, however denominated or described.
Exclusion of all other Warranties
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose.
